REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

Somerset Village Academy and Somerset Academy Village Charter Middle School are public charter schools, open to all eligible students who reside in Broward County, and subject to the preferences provided for in F.S. 1002.33(10)(d) and described therein. All student enrollments shall be subject to a random lottery and to the racial/ethnic balance provisions described in F.S. 1002.33 (7)(a)(8) reflective of the community it serves or within the racial/ethnic range of other public schools in the same school district.

The enrollment schedule for the 2021-2022 academic year is listed below:

First Enrollment Period: February 1, 2021 – February 26, 2021
Lottery: March 3, 2021
Notification of Lottery Results via Email: March 5, 2021
Deadline for Receipt of Acceptance letter from Lottery: March 9, 2021
Deadline for completing application packet: April 9, 2021

Second Enrollment Period: February 27, 2021 – March 31, 2021
Second Enrollment Period Lottery: April 5, 2021
Notification of Lottery Results via Email: April 7, 2021
Deadline for Receipt of Acceptance letter from Lottery: April 9, 2021
Deadline for completing application packet: May 7, 2021

Third Enrollment Period: April 1, 2021 – on-going

(Should a seat become available a lottery will be conducted to fill open seats by random drawing.)
